Text: Psalm 95:6  (ESV)

O come, let us worship and bow down; let us kneel before the Lord, or Maker!

Main Message

  • AW Tozer - Worship is not confined to emotion and feelings but and inward attitude.

  • True worship will always produce a change in the heart of the worshipper, causing a greater desire to love and obey the God we worship.

  • Confidence

    • Many cannot rightly worship these days because they do not have a high enough opinion of God.

    • We have reduced God from a powerful creator to a minuscule and powerless God.

  • Admiration

    • Admiration is the feeling of liking and appreciating. To express a wonder that includes approval and high esteem.

  • Fascination

    • Without feeling interested in God, we will never worship God.

  • Adoration

    • We adore God for who He is, for His wonderful works, for saving us.

Reflection Questions:

  1. Do you have confidence that God is what the Bible tells us who He is?

  2. When was the last time we appreciate what God has done for us and how he proved to us that he is faithful?

  3. How can you regain your interest in God? What are ways you need to do in maintaining interest in God?
