Text: Romans 8:26 (ESV)
Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words.

Main Message

-
Prayer is an expression of worship.
-
The Spirit helps us in our weakness, not that we don’t know how to pray, but the Spirit helps us in what to pray for.
-
The power of Christ will become more visible as it works through our weakness.
-
The Holy Spirit will guide us in all truth in our prayer.
-
Christ intercession is in heaven, he is seated in the right hand of the Father interceding for us.
-
On the other hand, the Holy Spirit is within the believers. The Holy Spirit is telling us what to for, and Christ is agreeing with what the Holy Spirit is telling us.

-
Pray with Sincerity
-
We have to be absolutely sincere if we want to pray in Spirit and Truth.
-
It is sincerity that God is looking from us when we pray.
-

-
Pray with Honesty
-
Sincerity and honesty goes hand and hand. They are twins and they can never be separated.
-
Honesty should be in all our prayers.
-

-
Pray from the Heart
-
To pray from the heart is to pour out ourselves before God.
-
Prayer from the heart proves that the heart is renewed. True prayer dwells not in a dead, corrupt, stony heart.
-
Reflection Questions:

-
Other than prayer, in what ways can you express your worship to God?
-
Identify your weakness, how do you bring them God? How do you expect God’s grace to help you when you are face to face with your weakness?
-
When was the last time you pour your heart out God? Just like Hannah, did you experienced God’s peace?
